Well said that man. Hopefully this’ll gradually percolate through to people. It’s notable that in Germany the car clubs and car insurance companies push helmets, I suspect to give their drivers wiggle room if they hit a cyclist: “But he vos not vearing ze polystyrene Hut! zerefore he iz to blame!”
In the UK I notice it’s bus companies that aponsor the pro-helmet sites. And they are pushing to get ‘Yellow bus’ contracts from councils to take children to school. Is it connected to the possibility that if parents think it’s to dangerous for children to cycle to school, the Yellow Bus has a big market?
