The advice and training provided is for all ages and levels from complete Beginners to Advanced on-road cycling and commuting, support and mentioning, also areas such as route planning, bicycle security and riding in areas with tram tracks.
The main area I working is Edinburgh and Midlothian, other areas maybe possible by agreement. Training can be provided on a one to one basis or in groups of up to five, depending type of on the training required.
My Background:
I have been a cyclist for most of my life, riding on the roads since I passed my Cycle Proficiency Test about the age of eight. I can and do drive, I have held a clean diving licence since the age of 17 and was in the past a fully qualified DOT Approve Driving Instructor, but I haven’t own a car since 1994. I have never really been interested in cycling as a competitive sport, for most of my life cycling has been mainly about Transport, although in recent years I have increase the amount of leisure cycle I do, as is reflected this blog.
